Since March 2011, Story League has put on sold-out shows around the Washington, D.C. area. To learn more about how to get involved, subscribe to our e-newsletter (at left).
At our monthly Story Contests, we bring in a special host, often from out of town and usually a comedian and/or storyteller, to run the show. And we use a panel of expert judges to decide whose story wins $100.
Story League is social. We regularly host mixers (often with a free mini-show) for people to meet one another. We also have a monthly Story Circle to work on stories for the curated shows.
Every 3rd Wednesday of the month, Story League holds a Story Contest at Busboys and Poets 14th/V Sts. in Washington, D.C. Anyone is invited to submit a story idea (click "Submit a Story" in the main nav bar above) before or at the start of the contest. Here are some previous contestants.
