Are you the next contestant?
Use the form below to submit a roughly 100-word story idea for possible inclusion in an upcoming Story League Story Contest. The judges don’t see your name, just your story pitch. So make it intriguing! Here are Story Pitching Tips…
1) Please include month of show you’re submitting for in the subject line of your message
2) Online story submissions end FIVE (5) DAYS before the contest begins, i.e. 3 PM on the FRIDAY before the contest.
The judges will consider your idea and we will inform you THREE (3) DAYS before the contest whether you will go on or not. Six (6) contestants will be selected for each contest, and there will be at least one “wild-card” spot, for which people can put their name in a hat and have the chance to be selected randomly.
3) Submitting does not guarantee that you will be selected to perform, nor is it a free ticket to see the show. Make sure you use the links below to buy a ticket if you plan on competing…

RULES FOR STORY LEAGUE STORY CONTESTS: Our three expert judges will select the stories they most wish to hear that night. You will have a maximum of 7 minutes, with a warning at 6 minutes, to tell your story. Your story must be true and told without notes or props. At the end of the night, the judges announce their pick, and the audience also picks a winner. The prize for best story as awarded by the judges is $100 cash. The audience favorite receives a Story League t-shirt. Judges’ and audience favorite both continue on to the next Tournament, where the prize jumps to $250.
