Story League Stands Up, in December, is the first express attempt to bring together the comedy and storytelling communities in one show. It features Vijai Nathan, Alejandro Morales, Emily Ruskowski, Pete Bergen, and future Story League Legends Adam Ruben, Nate Johnaon, and Reggie Melbrough, plus headliner GABE LIEDMAN, whose story you can watch below…

In June, Story League reaches a new level of classiness in its first (of three) shows at the Arts Club of Washington.

Story League sells out the Mainstage of D.C.’s legendary Black Cat nightclub with our first show there, “The Ultimate Story Showcase.” At 550 tickets sold, it was the largest story audience to date in D.C. and possibly anywhere.

In November, Story League queen Diane Ivey continues the tradition of Story Leaguers taking their show on the road, winning the First Person Arts GrandSlam in Philadelphia, which carries the title of “Best Storyteller in Philadelphia.

FIRST: January 2013 at Black Cat: Story League Sings! is the first show ever to feature storytellers telling a story then belting out a tune in front of a live band (HariKaraoke Band). The novelty of the concept and the electric performances make this our most popular show in the public’s view to date.
